Cancellation and withdrawal policy – Pre-order
SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle
1. Applicability
This cancellation and revocation policy applies to pre-orders placed by consumers with SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle, as defined in Article 6:230g of the Civil Code.
A pre-order refers to an order for a product that is not immediately available at the time of ordering, but will be produced and delivered at a later date.
The pre-order comes about outside of a web shop, via a sign-up link where the consumer leaves his or her information and then receives a prepayment invoice.
2. Product Description
The pre-order covers the Nuna Egg Chair, a designer chair developed by SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle in collaboration with Anouk Smulders.
This cooperation and the design background of the product do not affect the applicability of the statutory right of withdrawal.
3. Conclusion of the agreement and payment
By signing up for a pre-order and paying the prepayment invoice, the consumer enters into a purchase agreement with SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle for the Nuna Egg Chair.
- The total retail price of the Nuna Egg Chair is €1,999 incl. VAT .
- Upon entering into the pre-order, a down payment of € 605 incl. VAT charged via a prepayment invoice.
- The remaining amount of €1,394 including VAT will be invoiced separately by SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle, or by an affiliated SUNS dealer or SUNS Experience Center, and must be paid prior to delivery, at a time to be determined by SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle or the respective dealer or Experience Center.
4. Right of withdrawal (cancellation).
The consumer has the right to revoke the contract without giving reasons:
- up to 14 days after receipt of the product, and
- even before delivery of the product.
This right of withdrawal applies in accordance with Article 6:230o of the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Directive.
5. Exercising the right of withdrawal before delivery
If the consumer wishes to use the right of withdrawal before the product has been delivered, this can be done by informing SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle in writing, for example by e-mail.
SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle will confirm the revocation in writing upon receipt.
6. Consequences of revocation
If the consumer revokes the agreement, SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle:
- The full amount paid by the consumer (including the down payment of €605 including VAT and, if already paid, the remaining amount),
- including any payment and administration fees,
- within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal notice
refund by the same payment method used to make the payment, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Revocation after delivery
After receiving the product, the consumer can revoke the agreement within 14 days.
If the product has already been delivered, it must be returned within 14 days of revocation in accordance with SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle’s return instructions.
8. Expected delivery
An indicative delivery period will be communicated with the pre-order.
This delivery period is indicative and may be subject to change. Any delay in delivery does not affect the consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal.

Is your order not quite to your liking after all? Of course we are sorry to hear that. We are happy to help you resolve it as smoothly as possible.
Return period
You can return a product within 14 days of receipt, provided the conditions below are met.
Conditions for returns
A return will be accepted only when:
- the product is complete, unused and undamaged;
- the product has the original labels, tags and/or cards;
- the product, if reasonably possible, is returned in its original, undamaged packaging;
- the product is carefully packed to prevent shipping damage.
If a product is returned damaged, incomplete or visibly used, SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle reserves the right to deduct the decrease in value from the amount to be refunded, or to refuse (part of) the refund.
Cost and responsibility
- Return shipping costs are at your own expense.
- The consumer is responsible for the return shipment until it is received in good order by SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle.
- SUNS Outdoor Lifestyle is not liable for returns that are lost or arrive damaged.
We therefore recommend that returns always be sent using a trackable shipping method.

Refund
Upon receipt and verification of the return, the amount due, if any, will be refunded within 14 days via the same payment method used to make the original payment.
