Quality is a matter of making choices. In material, in form and in construction. SUNS has a clear preference for robust materials. Friendly to the eye and resistant to intensive use. All SUNS garden furniture can be left outside all year round. Natural materials may discolor over time, which is part of the characteristics of the product. What you can count on is that SUNS products will last a long time.

Thanks to the high quality, SUNS grants on various materials and parts a longer warranty than legally required. No less than 5 years! Of course there are certain conditions attached.
If any furniture, part or product shows defects due to a manufacturing defect or gives a defect due to normal household use, SUNS will, at its discretion, repair, re-finish or replace the defective part.
If it is not possible to repair or replace the product with a comparable part, SUNS will provide an appropriate credit. This means that SUNS provides a 5-year warranty (and 2-year warranty for canopies) from the time of purchase and with each year of use by the end consumer, 20% will be forfeited on the purchase price of the respective set and/or item with damage:
– Up to one year from date of invoice: the costs of repair or replacement, respectively, shall be borne entirely by Seller
– After one year and up to two years from date of invoice: 80% of the costs of repair or replacement shall be borne by Seller
– After two years and up to three years from date of invoice: The costs of repair or replacement shall be borne 60% by Seller
– After three years and up to four years from date of invoice: The costs of repair or replacement, respectively, shall be borne 40% by Seller
– After four years and up to five years from date of invoice: 20% of the costs of repair or replacement shall be borne by Seller

Should the model or color no longer be available, SUNS reserves the right to replace the defective furniture with a similar product. Any replacement applies in principle to the defective part or furniture, not to an entire set. Repair, new finish or replacement does not affect the original warranty period.
Warranty Procedure:
In case of a defect, it is the responsibility of the buyer to return the furniture to the SUNS Dealer of purchase along with the original proof of purchase. The SUNS Dealer will submit the warranty request with date, description of the problem and together with photos to SUNS through the appropriate portal. The correct handling of the warranty procedure will be taken care of by SUNS.
Warranty conditions:
The warranty period begins at the time of purchase at the store. The original receipt serves as proof of warranty. The warranty covers construction and material defects already present at the time of delivery. Excluded from this are damages caused by improper or unprofessional use such as abnormal loads, deterioration due to aggressive substances, improper maintenance (use of cleaning products other than SUNS Cleaners and Protectors), repairs by inexperienced people (i.e. non-SUNS service employees), covering of furniture other than with a SUNS furniture cover, incorrect assembly, as well as natural properties belonging to the material and damages caused by not or not correctly observing the instructions for use (assembly instruction, hanging and washing instructions).
– Defects, attributable to normal wear and tear or extreme weather conditions
– For plastic: scratches from use or other signs of use
– For aluminum: scratches from use or other signs of use
– For wood: the natural properties associated with the product such as the possibility of cracks and aging or other signs of use
– For steel: rusting from the inside due to condensation, among other things
– For textiles: less than 3mm shrinkage on 1 linear meter, improper washing (handling and care), light discoloration and signs of use and reduced load-bearing capacity and thickness of the padding over time under normal, private use
– Damage caused by use of cleaning/protection agents other than SUNS Cleaners & Protectors
– The warranty applies only to normal private, domestic use
For the SUNS canopies and installation, we apply the regular legal warranty period of two years:
– As this is an advanced product, we advise to have the roofing installed by our expert fitters;
– If the installation conditions are not met as sent and signed in advance, SUNS reserves the right not to install the roofing, or to charge for additional work;
– SUNS fitters will not make any adjustments to the canopy;
– Buyer must use the product in accordance with the manual, otherwise the warranty will expire;
– Adjustments to the product made by the Buyer will void the warranty.
