Quality at SUNS is a conscious choice in materials, design and construction. We use robust materials that are both aesthetically pleasing and able to withstand intensive use. SUNS garden furniture can stay outside all year round, but keep in mind that natural materials may discolor over time. This is a normal characteristic and does not compromise quality.

Thanks to the high standards we maintain, SUNS offers a warranty that extends beyond the legal requirements: a 5-year warranty. This extended warranty does come with some conditions.

What the warranty covers:
Does a piece of furniture or part prove to be defective due to a manufacturing defect or a problem arising from normal household use? Then SUNS will, at its discretion: repair, re-finish, or replace the defect.

Should the original model or color no longer be available (e.g., in the case of a discontinued collection), SUNS reserves the right to supply a comparable product. Replacement, in principle, only covers the defective furniture or component, not an entire set. The original warranty period will remain in effect and will not be extended.

Warranty procedure:
– Return the product to the dealer where you purchased it, along with your proof of purchase.
– The SUNS dealer will note the date and defect and forward this information to SUNS.
– SUNS will then take care of the proper handling of the warranty claim.

Warranty conditions:
– The 5-year warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
– The original receipt is the official proof of warranty.
– The warranty covers only construction and material defects that were already present at the time of delivery.
– Damage caused by improper or incompetent use (such as excessive load, aggressive substances, improper maintenance, incorrect assembly) is excluded from the warranty.

– Normal wear and tear due to use or extreme weather influences.
– Scratches on plastic or aluminum as a result of use.
– Wood: natural properties such as possible cracks and aging.
– Steel: rust formation from the inside (e.g. due to condensation).
– Textiles: shrinkage of up to 3 mm on 1 linear meter, improper washing, slight discoloration, signs of use,
– Decreased load-bearing capacity and padding over time under normal private use.
– Damage caused by non SUNS maintenance products (SUNS Cleaners & Protectors).
– Covering of furniture in a manner not in accordance with the instructions for use.
– The warranty applies only to normal private, domestic use.
