Between the beats he finds peace
A daily escape, right in the middle of Amsterdam
Sam Feldt’s life plays out to the rhythm of full schedules, international tours and thousands of people in front of the stage. Always on the move. Always on. That’s precisely why home is the place where everything slows down.
In his garden in Amsterdam, together we created an outdoor space that breathes the opposite of the stage. Tranquility. Balance. Softness.
On the upper terrace, the Blocchi lounge set the heart of the setting. An arrangement with a calm look, carefully chosen materials that enhance each other and a pallet that brings tranquility to the eye. Next to the lounge area is the Sorolo low dining table, combined with the Sato low dining chairs. A place for long evenings with friends, but just as good for a quiet moment alone.
The choice of materials was deliberate. Aluminum in soft tones, rich fabrics, natural accents. The look had to be understated. A place to land after a flight. To recover after a show.
As you descend the terrace, a second setting unfolds. Two Vento lounge chairs, each with its own hocker. Together they form a place that transforms from comfortable lounge chair to relaxing lounger. This is where you catch the afternoon sun. Here you read a book. Here you don’t have to do anything.
Vento’s teak frame brings warmth to the garden. A subtle connection with the frame of the Sorolo table above. This creates a whole where materials complement and enhance each other. For Sam, the choice for SUNS felt natural. The Brabant roots we share, the sense of quality and down-to-earth luxury. No excess, but refinement.
Among the beats, he finds his silence here.
And we had the honor of creating that place with him.
A garden to discharge. To recharge. Before the next show starts again.
